Being Assigned a Roommate

Some students will be assigned roommates.

Students who Reserve Housing by February 14

If you reserve housing by February 14 and don't select a roommate, the other space in the room that you select (during Room Selection) will be available for any other student to select.

If the space is not selected through Room Selection, we will assign a student based on age and gender. Roommate assignments will show up in the housing portal immediately after they have been assigned. We assign roommates June-July.

Students who Reserve Housing after February 14

We assign students to rooms June-July. Room assignments are made in the order in which reservations were received (I.e. a student who reserved housing on February 15 would be assigned to a room before a student who reserved housing May 5).

Room/roommate assignments are made in June and July.
