Download the CSC Go Mobile App
- Visit your laundry room and scan the QR code on the front of any machine using the camera app on your phone.
- Download the free CSC GO mobile app on your iOS or Android device.
- Select your laundry location.
- Create an account. Do not assign a debit or credit card - the machines run free.
*Account registration is not required to start a machine or view machine status. However, using the app is the only way to receive a notification when your cycle is complete.
Notifications
Turn on notifications to receive a text when your laundry is complete. Within the app, go to:
- More > Notifications > Swipe right to turn on.
CSC Go is designed for smartphones. Tablets may show machine activity, but you will not be able to receive a notification via a tablet.
Let's Do Laundry
- Load and select cycle.
- Scan & press start. Open the CSC Go app or use the camera on your phone to scan the QR code location on the front of the machine. Press start on the app and then press start on the machine.
- See machine status. Easily monitor machine progress and receive a notification when a laundry cycle is complete.
Laundry Locations
Laundry rooms are located in each residence community. Residents of Crawford, McElroy, and Preska also have access to the All-Resident Laundry Room located in the lower level of Preska. It features soft seating, tables and chairs, and a television. Click below to find the laundry room for your residence community.

Consider Time
Washers and dryers take approximately 45 minutes per load. Remove clothes promptly when the cycle ends to prevent wrinkles and to free up the machine for the next person.
Laundry Tips Close- Make sure pockets are emptied of all items- chapstick, gum, pens, money, papers, etc.
- Pre-treat any stains – whether with detergent or a stain eliminator.
- Load clothes loosely into the washer. Only fill clothes to the top row of holes in the wash basket. They need to be able to agitate properly or they will not get clean.
- Follow the manufacturer’s directions on the detergent bottle/box. 2 tablespoons of soap is enough for one load.
- 1 wash = 1 dry. Do not dry more than 1 load of clothes in the dryer.
- Load clothes loosely into the dryer. Don’t overload the dryer as your clothes need to be able to tumble freely in order to dry thoroughly.
- Remove clothes promptly when cycle ends to prevent wrinkles and to free up the machine for the next person.
- Please help out the custodial staff by keeping the floor and area free of used dryer sheets, detergent containers, etc.
Machine Not Working
Notify us if a machine is not working. To report a service issue,
- Take a picture of the machine ID number (so you have it handy and can list it in the comments).
- Report the issue by submitting a Service Request.
- Be specific in the comment section about the issue, such as "spin cycle is not working". Make sure you list the machine ID number!
Lost & Found Laundry
During the year, property is turned in at the Front Desk of the community in which the property was found. Any personal items discovered in the residence halls after a student has terminated their contract or left the residence halls are discarded.

Laundry Supplies
HE liquid laundry detergent is recommend for our machines. Vertical laundry baskets on wheels are frequently used by students.
Do NOT use 3-in-1 detergent softener sheets as they will damage the machine.
