Drug Drop Box

University Security provides a drug drop box which is available to the public for anonymous and safe disposal of prescription and non-prescription medications. The drop box is located near Wiecking Center 222.

• Prescription medications

• Over-the-counter medications

• Narcotics and other controlled substances

• Medication samples

• Pet medications

• Vitamins and supplements

• Liquid medications in glass or leak-proof containers

• Medicated ointments and lotions

• Inhalers

Non-Accepted Items

• Needles, syringes or other sharps
• Thermometers
• IV bags
• Bloody or infectious waste
• Hydrogen Peroxide
• Rubbing Alcohol
• Aerosol cans
• Business waste
