Volleyball Tournament + Soccer Finals

Teams, RSOs, and friends will compete in either volleyball tournament or soccer championship or BOTH with big Maverrick pride!

Volleyball Tournament (Max 100 points)

Tues. October 1^st 7pm – Myers Fieldhouse

Each team will receive 55 points for entering a team of six (6) people. Only one (1) team will be allowed to participate per competition team.* Points will be given to the top three finishers in each division and tournament:

-        First Place           45 points

-        Second Place     35 points

-        Third Place         20 points

 

* More than one team per residence hall can participate, but only one will represent the competition team.

 

Rules: This will be a single elimination competition with only one set per match; the final match will be an exception and have three sets (one set is 25 points with a two-point advantage). Players may be swapped out between matches and sets. Each team will be emailed a guide on how to play volleyball and are expected to  understand the rules before the game begins. Fighting, swearing, gesturing at or excessive arguing with the referee and/or players will result in disqualification.
