Degree Completion and Graduation Process for Undergraduate Students

  1. E-Services

    Use your StarId and Password to log in to E-Services

    Once in E-Services, click on Academic Record

  3. Degree Audit

    Select Degree Audit

  4. Graduation Planner

    Open Graduation Planner and Schedule Builder

  5. Plans

    Click on Plans in the Student Planner and begin

Graduation Process: Undergraduate Student

  1. Register for your Final Semester and Review Degree Audit (DARs)

    After enrolling in classes for your final term, you should begin the graduation application process by reviewing your DARs in E-Services. The degree audit will determine graduation eligibility.

  2. Submit Graduation Application

    Submit a graduation application. This will start the official degree audit report (DARs) process.

    Applications are prioritized by the current term on a rolling basis. 

     

  3. Review Evaluation of Degree Audit Report

    Review the evaluation of your DARs that will be sent to you via MavMail. This is typically available 7-10 days after you submit your application. During peak times, it may take longer.

  4. Confirm your Diploma Address

    Confirm your diploma mailing address in E-Services under Account Management. 

    If your diploma mailing address is outside of the United States, place an order with eShipGlobal - University Express Mail Service.

  5. Register to Walk in the Commencement Ceremony (Optional)

    After you register for graduation, keep an eye on your MavMail! About 8-10 weeks before the ceremony, you'll receive an email from MNSU-Events with everything you need to register for Commencement and ordering regalia. 

    Note: to be listed in the official Commencement booklet, apply to graduate by:

    • April 1 for spring
    • November 1 for fall

When your Degree is Official

After final grades are submitted and commencement has taken place, Graduation Evaluators will review your academic record. If all degree requirements are met, your degree will be officially awarded and posted to your transcript.

To see when your degree has been posted, check your unofficial transcript in E-Services under Academic Record.
