Welcome Michelle Forliti to the Social Work Department

a person in a black shirtWelcome Michelle Forliti, LSW (BSSW ’12) to the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences. Michelle joins the Department of Social Work as the student support coordinator for the Title IV-E Child Welfare Program.

Michelle is a graduate of our BSSW Program and has worked at Minnesota Valley Action Council for 10 years assisting at-risk youth and young adults in career and employment development as well experience working in geriatric, domestic violence children’s advocate, and educational programs. She has experience in program coordination, as well as building partnerships with educational and community organizations. She has engaged educators and service providers in exploring topics such as Adverse Childhood Experiences and Priorities in Poverty in an interactive and conversational setting.

We look forward to the many contributions Ms. Forliti will make to our students and graduates as well as to our University and professional child welfare communities.
