Concurrent enrollment courses are courses offered based on an agreement between a high school and postsecondary institution. The course is taught by an instructor that is approved by the university, they teach the university course and align rigor, pace, and learning outcomes to what Minnesota State Mankato students learn.

Questions about how to start a partnership with Minnesota State Mankato? We'd love to talk more!
Concurrent enrollment alumni report that after taking concurrent courses, they feel more confident in their ability to be successful in postsecondary coursework when they enroll as full-time students.
Since concurrent enrollment courses are offered at the high school, students are able to learn in an environment that they are familiar with and comfortable in. They have additional support from their peers, teachers, counselors, and family members.
Minnesota State Mankato's concurrent enrollment program is accredited through the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP). This accreditation requires course alignment, students will learn, and instructors will teach, university level courses, not simply high school courses that offer college credit. Learn more about NACEP accreditation and the standards for our campus and K12 partners.

student testimonials
"It was a great experience and saved me from over half a semester of tuition! I highly recommend it!"
"I am so grateful for the experience I had in Concurrent Enrollment courses through Minnesota State University, Mankato. I initially believed they would simply be a good challenge during my senior year of high school, but have since realized that they served an even greater purpose in setting me ahead through the credits I earned."
"I really enjoyed my time in CE ASL 3/4. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun being able to do different projects. I cannot speak highly enough of my teacher. She is an amazing teacher, beyond supportive of each student, and does everything she can to make sure each student succeeds."
