Strange tales of representing a tribe and their casino, being held hostage, and kicking the mafia off the reservation. American Indian tribes have special relationships with federal and state governments allowing varying levels of sovereignty and self-governance, including their own tribal reservations, laws and courts. Representing tribes involves interesting legal and practical challenges.

Presenter(s):  Randall Knutson is a partner at the Knutson & Casey law firm in Mankato, specializing in personal injury claims. He graduated cum laude from Hamline University Law School in 1992.
