Magnetic Ghost (Minneapolis):
Magnetic Ghost, the project of Minneapolis musician Andrew Larson, is an ever-evolving amorphous beast, which constantly changes size, form and sound from release to release. From barrages of post-rock noise to lo-fi loner psych and ethereal space folk, Larson’s Magnetic Ghost possesses a vast and vibrant sonic spectrum. Yet he might have reached an artistic peak with Pixels, his latest album co-released by Mankato-based label Round Bale Recordings. On Pixels, Larson steers the ship that is Magnetic Ghost through complex experimental-pop (“Does it Dream?”), baroque-shoegaze hybrids (“Reality Distortion Field”) and euphoric moments of psychedelic sunshine (“Delete”), all while retaining a singular and unique vision.

American Cream (Minneapolis):
"American Cream Band are the delightfully amorphous, rotating cast of Twin Cities musicians who have created some of Minnesota’s most zonked-out psych/krautrock over the last decade. The group have released a scattered collection of great tapes and albums over the years (explore their adventures on their Bandcamp page) while sharpening their trade in what seems like every venue in the Twin Cities. Despite their changing lineups, their sound always has a powerful churn and brooding ambience that has made them a band I always am excited to hear where they are taking their sound." -Reviler

Final Seed (Mankato):
Mankato's own DIY tape collagist, Jameson Sweiger, weaves together domestic sound sources, vintage thrift shop synths, and broken tongue mumblings to compose the soundtrack to our anxiety-ridden times.
