KMSU Fall Pledge Drive Exceeds Expectations!
Generous Radio Heroes push the station well beyond the $35,000 Stretch Goal
Holy cow, the KMSU Radio Heroes are next level amazing! Your generosity through the pledge drive was nothing less than stunning. We hit the pledge drive goal by 6:15 on Thursday morning, and by the end of Polka 'Til You Puke on Friday, October 28th, the station was well past our $35,000 stretch goal. UNBELIEVABLE.
Your generosity beyond our goal will allow KMSU to invest in our streaming infrastruction, which is pretty antiquated by now. It will give you to have a more secure streaming experience, either online or via the upcoming KMSU app, and it will allow us to serve an even larger volume of listeners at any given time. This will be incredibly important once the app and the MN Music Channel (soon available via the app and on our upcoming HD frequency) become live.
Right now we're hoping that the KMSU app will be live in November, red tape permitting, and we'd like to have the MN Music Channel live by the end of the year. Again, all of these amazing things have been made possible because of your generosity. We've consistently humbled and amazed by it, and we can't thank you enough.
We'll be ordering swag once we have all the final figures in, and soon you should be seeing a bunch of great swag in your mailboxes. This process will take a little time, so we appreciate your patience while we sort out it all out. We promise it will be worth it.
