The 2024 Fall Pledge Drive Is Coming!
October fund raiser features new swag, radio roulette & polka til you puke
The KMSU Fall Pledge Drive kicks off on Wednesday, October 23! We'll have some great new swag for you when you pledge, and lots of fun programming throughout the drive. Check kmsu.org on Monday, October 21 for a sneak peak at the premiums we'll have lined up. KMSU and its listeners: together we make great radio!
The Shuffle Function Morning Show will have several special programs, and many of them are Halloween themed. On Halloween morning, October 31, from six to nine a.m. they'll celebrate with lots of music by The Cramps, as well as a recording of Cramps singer Lux Interior playing DJ and spinning records that inspired his band. Later that night at six p.m. they'll play a round of Shuffle Function Radio Roulette, a completely random game where numbers are drawn, coins are flipped, and dice are rolled to determine what songs get played from a 500+ Ktel record collection. The best part is that if you pledge you can pick the record number that they play!
On Friday, November 1 the Shuffle Function Morning Show will start your day with Polka 'Til You Puke, a three hour celebration of Minnesota's party music. Professional Polka fans Maude & Katie Jo will join Shyboy Tim & Shelley for this annual Polka party tradition to help wrap up the Fall Pledge Drive. Polka 'Til You Puke? POLKA 'TIL YOU PLEDGE!
