The Fall Pledge Drive Is Coming!
Help KMSU meet its drive goal and get some cool swag, too!
Anne of Green Gables once said “I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” Maybe it was Lou Reed that actually said it, or a person that operates a Halloween store. In any case, the person that did say it was right. October in Minnesota is glorious. The changing leaves, perfect sweater temps, and a Halloween grand finale give us a lovely transition into the full contact Winter that awaits us. October also means something else: The KMSU Fall pledge drive begins on Wednesday, October 19th!
Your generosity helps keep the lights on at 89.7 the Maverick, and that's why we come to you twice a year to ask for your help. Thanks to you we've begun developing a KMSU app so you'll be able to take us with you wherever you go. We're also building an additional channel for you that will be completely dedicated to Minnesota's rich musical culture. There have been a few speed bumps with supply chain issues and red tape delays, but the gears are in motion, and we're hoping to have both of them up and running by the end of the year. These station improvements are also requiring infrastructure upgrades to handle the nuts and bolts of development and channel broadcast, and that's where your support has been especially helpful.
