BIO
I was born in the Mankato area and was the youngest of five brothers. My father owned and operated a construction company for 42 years. During my graduate school I was a Congressional Intern for Congressman Vin Weber and did an internship with the City of Eagan. My first professional job was with Rice County in administration. From there, I went on to be a City Administrator for the City of Winnebago for 10-plus years prior to working at Bethany Lutheran College (BLC) in 2000. From 1994 to 2001, I was also a certified fire fighter. Today I work at BLC as the Sr. VP – Finance & Admin. I am also an ordained minister and perform a number of weddings, etc. I was a member on the MRCI Foundation Board where I was the Treasurer and Vice President. I currently worked with a family foundation fund, and I am a voting member of the BLC Investment Committee (equivalent to the Minnesota State Mankato Foundation Board). I have never been married, nor do I have any children. I enjoy camping, jet skiing, golf and hockey.
