Minnesota State University, Mankato is proud to offer merit and need-based scholarships to new first-year students. Criteria for these competitive scholarships vary based on high school GPA, challenging coursework, extracurricular activities, leadership, and other factors.
To be considered you must be attending a two-year community college, have a minimum cumulative transfer GPA of 3.0, complete an associate's degree or the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum prior to fall semester and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
Minnesota State Mankato values the cultural contribution of international students to our campus and communities. All new undergraduate students are automatically awarded the International Maverick Scholarship, which allows them a tuition savings of more than $5,000 per academic year.
Students currently enrolled in a graduate program at Minnesota State University, Mankato should visit the Financial Resources page on the Graduate Studies website for information about internal funding opportunities, such as graduate assistantships.
