Rest - Relax - Refuel
Mavericks recharge in a variety of ways, but here is a list of ways a lot of students live out loud on campus.
Study by the Fountain
Located on the mall between the CSU and Memorial Library, the fountain came from part of the New York City World Fair (1965) and was installed in 1969. It was designed to create a spiral effect with stationary water jets. The sculpture in the fountain was not originally part of the work. The sculpture, by Roger Johnson, a former faculty member in the Art Department, was added in 1975. The fountain underwent major renovation in 2013.
Start a Pick Up Volleyball Game
Whether it’s volleyball, soccer, football, Frisbee, or other games, meet new Mavericks through a pick-up game. Need equipment? No problem most of the resident halls have equipment for rent. Otherwise stop by Otto Rec center for equipment.
Hammock Up!
Minnesota State Mankato is a Hammock campus! That first nice day of the spring semester they will be everywhere. Some favorite spots include Performing Arts Lawn, UDC lawn, by the clock tower, or outside Julia Sears.
Late Night Snack Attack!

Houds hugs & Kanine Kisses
Volunteers with Alliance of Therapy Dogs bring their loveable dogs to the Centennial Student Union every third Thursday of the month throughout the academic year.
