Required Application Materials

Online Application The application can be used to apply for degree-seeking as well as non-degree seeking study.
Unofficial Transcript

As part of your application, please upload unofficial transcripts from each institution listed.

  • If you attended Minnesota State University, Mankato, or another Minnesota State institution, unofficial transcripts are available through E-Services.
  • If access is an issue, email gradapp@mnsu.edu for assistance. 
  • Applicants educated outside the U.S. must submit a credential evaluation from a NACES member.

If admitted, official transcripts are required.

Test Scores (if required by the program) Send test scores to Graduate Admissions directly from the test center.  Minnesota State Mankato’s Educational Testing Service (ETS) code is 6677.  
Application Fee You will need to pay the $40 non-refundable application processing fee at the end of your completed application. Your application will not be reviewed until that has been paid.
Additional Materials Graduate programs may have admission requirements specific to the program. Visit the program's webpage for details.

Graduate Student Apply

To Apply as a Non-Degree Seeking Applicant:

  1. Start an application for your entry term.
  2. Search "Non-Degree" on the Add Program page.
  3. Select "Non-Degree Seeking Graduate Student Status."

Note: Most non-degree seeking students are not eligible for federal financial aid.
