Alyssa Johnson
'18 B.s. Computer Information Technology
Alyssa is from Arden Hills, MN. During her time at Mounds View High School, she discovered a passion for coding. Her college search led her to Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she became a second generation computer student at the university (Debbie Glaser Lillehaugen ’89). She graduated in ’18 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology with a minor in Technical Communication.
During her time at Minnesota State University, she enjoyed attending various Maverick sporting events, campus activities, and exploring the city of Mankato. She was the student president of Crossroads Campus Ministry from ’15 through ’19. During her junior and senior year, she was on the Student Advisory Board for the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology.
Alyssa is currently employed by Securian Financial in downtown St. Paul, MN, as an Associate Application Analyst. She lives in Maplewood, MN and enjoys staying active through bowling, softball, volleyball, and other activities. She looks forward to family outings and trying new cookie recipes.
