​Enrollment and Degree Verification

Numerous outside agencies and employers may wish to verify that you are or were a student at Minnesota State Mankato, to verify your status (full-time, half-time), and to verify whether or not you have completed a degree.

Request verification of enrollment

These verifications are all completed through our partner, the National Student Clearinghouse. To request verification of enrollment on a former student, please request this through the National Student Clearinghouse Verification Services site.

For students, you may request enrollment verifications free of charge through the National Student Clearinghouse Student Self-Service Website You may then share the enrollment certificate with other agencies who need information about your enrollment status.

Good Student Discount Programs

For "Good Student" discount programs through insurance companies, please log in to your E-Services account and create a PDF version of your unofficial transcript and share this with your insurance agent/company. Minnesota State Mankato does not provide a class rank.

If your password for E-Services does not work, you may reset it at the MinnState STAR ID site.

Additional Information About National Student Clearinghouse Reporting

We regularly report our students' enrollment beginning around the 10th day of the term, monthly throughout the term and about three weeks following the end of each term. Degree completion information is reported the first of each month. It takes approximately one week following our reporting for the Clearinghouse to make that information available to the public or to you through the self-service website.
