Campus Offices
Academic Advising
Advising relationships are a key factor in academic success. Each academic college has an advising center. When you start as a new student, you are often assigned to the advising center when you first declare a major at orientation. If you began as an undecided, you are assigned to the New Student & Family Programs office for advising.
Accessibility Recources
Welcome to Accessibility Resources at Minnesota State University, Mankato. We coordinate accommodations for students with disabilities and serve as a resource for faculty, staff and the university community in an effort to assure equal access to learning for all.
Activities and Organizations
Student Activities, a department of the Centennial Student Union, seeks to be the center for the co-curricular experience at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
African-American Affairs
African American Affairs develops events, programs, and direct services that promote identity development by encouraging students to explore the varying levels of their pan-African ethnic and cultural identities.

Center for Academic Success
Students can improve their academic performance when they use the services of the Center for Academic Success. Our trained staff of graduate and undergraduate tutors can guide students through the process of writing an effective paper, preparing for an important exam, or completing a challenging assignment. Along the way, students of all abilities obtain the skills needed to become more confident about succeeding in their academic endeavors. Trained tutors are available to assist students with writing, languages, math, science, and more. Come visit the Center, located in the lower level of the library, and learn how you can improve your study habits, acquire more effective academic skills, and achieve better grades.
Community Engagement Office
The Community Engagement Office (CEO) connects Minnesota State University, Mankato students with greater Mankato community agencies and organizations seeking volunteers for one-time and on-going projects.
Counseling Center
The Counseling Center provides a range of mental health services, from individual and group counseling to referrals. Services are free, comfortable, and confidential; the Counseling Center is here to help students navigate any difficulties going on personally, socially, or in school.

Financial Aid Office
Most Minnesota State Mankato students depend on federal, state and/or private funding assistance to finance their college education. We are committed to providing valuable information about financial aid programs and processes to ensure each student has access to the maximum available funds. The financial services specialists at the Campus Hub are available to answer questions and connect students with additional advising assistance if needed.
