Why I want to be a Maverick Firsts Advocate

was the first in my family to go to college, so I have an idea of the difficulties of that transition. Plus, as a farm kid going into the arts, I dealt with the “what are you going to do with THAT degree” mentality a lot. If you deal with the same things, maybe I can help!
