Why I want to be a Mavericks First Advocate

I felt lost when I first moved to college and I had a really hard time transitioning to college. I ended up transferring after learning the hard way that my first school was not a good fit. I know what it’s like to feel like no one in the family can help with the changes that come with going to college. I want to help connect students with resources that I know of as a staff here, and I don’t want students to feel lost like I did. I really enjoy talking about college, majors, and how skills and talents can translate into career.

I love the Mankato community and have plenty of advice on things to do around here! I love camping, reading, cooking, binging on Netflix and Hulu, and spending time with my fur children.
