The theme of this year’s event is “Impacting Real-World Challenges Together.” Employers were asked in advance to share what real-world challenges they help impact, and they are organized by those challenge themes. The University’s goal is to help students find employers that match their values.
At the event, first-year and sophomore students are encouraged to explore positions and fields of study, get more information about specific organizations and employers and develop a network of contacts. Juniors, seniors and internship/job seekers are encouraged to meet and engage with potential employers and professionals in their fields.
Last year close to 1,200 Minnesota State Mankato students and alumni attended the Career & Internship Expo.
The Career & Internship Expo is the premier fall event held by Minnesota State Mankato’s Career Development Center. The primary objective of the Career Development Center is to provide services and resources to assist students and graduates with career planning and the search for employment.
Minnesota State Mankato, a comprehensive university with 14,635 students, is part of the Minnesota State system, which includes 26 colleges and seven universities.
